As I have mentioned in previous posts, when it comes to Easter I love giving homemade gifts, there are so many different things that can be made for this holiday and I find it so much fun trying to come up with something new each year.
This year, after discovering these nests in Hobby Craft I came up with the below gifts which I am so excited to give to friends and family.

Here is my step by step guide on how to make Easter Egg Nests…

What you will need: 1 Nest per gift, 1 Galaxy Gold Medium Easter Egg per gift, Roll of Cellophane, Ribbon of choice, 1 Gift tag per gift, 1 piece of string or 1 elastic band per gift, 1 sheet A4 card (You will get 9 gift tags per sheet of A4)

Step 1. You’ll want to make sure you have all of the parts for your gift before you start.

Step 2. Place the egg in the nest and then place the mini eggs that come in the box with the main egg around the edge of the nest, at the base of the egg.

Step 3. Lay the cellophane out on a flat surface, place the egg on top before cutting so that you can estimate how much you will need and then once cut, scrunch all the corners up to the top of the egg before securing with some string or an elastic band.

Step 4.  Print off your free labels on the sheet of A4 card, I recommend white or cream and I use a weight of  300 gsm.

Step 5. Cut out your gift tag, thread ribbon through the hole and then tie the ribbon around the gift to hide the elastic band or string you placed on there earlier…..

………and Ta Da!!! A unique Easter gift for your loved ones!

I hope you have fun making these for your friends and family. Feel free to leave any comments or feedback below. Happy Easter!!
